omg hello, hey, hi, hola!

Alejandra Rodríguez also know as actual nature, is a Colombian-born photographer, artist, and storyteller currently based in the United States. With a passion for capturing authentic moments, Alejandra’s work is a reflection of her cultural roots, her experiences as a Latina, and her deep connection to the world around her. Through photography, she seeks to preserve fleeting moments and communicate the powerful stories that often go unnoticed.

Her creative journey began with the memories captured in her family’s old photo albums—images that had a profound impact on her life. As she grew, Alejandra embraced photography not only as a form of expression but as a tool for creating change. She aims to preserve history, offer fresh perspectives, and provide visibility to the stories and experiences that matter to her.

Alejandra’s work is heavily influenced by the dynamic energy of urban spaces, particularly New York City, where she documents street style and the city’s ever-changing cultural landscape. Her recent projects include exhibitions, such as Simulacro Decembrino “Meros Colores,” a tradition she plans to continue every year, and her upcoming fanzine documenting her journey around New York City, which she plans to launch in fall 2025.

A strong advocate for community and collaboration, Alejandra is open to working with artists, designers, stylists, and other creatives across various media. Despite the challenges of navigating the art world as a Latina, Alejandra remains determined to grow her reach, share her art with new audiences, and use her platform to make a positive impact on the world.
